Another sagging rear
To start lets say buget is broke, anyway I have a lift on truck and dont want to go higher, loaded for camping it rest almost on the bump stops, did a ad a leaf on one side and it went to high, stink bug high, took it out, just scored a set of springs from a 92 pickup (mines an 87) after research I find that they started making them 3 inches longer, also scored some warn shackles.3inches longer, stock shackles would be higher right? With longer shackles would it come down or go even higher? Obviously junk yard springs will already be sagging, new stock run about 139 and right now is out of picture any help thanks

The longer the shackle, the more lift you'll get. The amount of lift does NOT correspond to the length of the shackle due to the angle it normally sits at.

Thanks, I guess the way I wrote it made everyone wonder, I relize longer shackles will give more lift, but with the 3inch longer springs I thought that it would let it sag more, I'm going to try them with the stock shackles first and can always change them
THANKS
