Will My 88 to 89 AC parts fit?

I recently bought an 89 4x4 to start doin an axle swap, lift, tires, etc.. etc... The truck was broken down so i couldnt test drive it. just forked over the $1400 and presumed the clutch was the young fellas issue. Needles to say after getting the truck home and puttn in a new clutch, my next project was fixin the ac. (prev owner told me it didnt "blow cold"). well didnt take me long to figure why!!! NO AC!! At any rate a guy gave me an old 88 2 wheeler with all the components in place. I went pick it up over an hour away and realized 88-89 was when the body changed. Long story short will the 88' evap fit under the 89 dash? Plugs and wires the same? need help

Ac compatability question..

I have a 1989 4x4 22re. I am located in Louisiana and "attempting" to install an ac system. I thought I had everything I needed from an 88. Well the 88 has a different compressor bracket, pulley, possibly different lines etc. The condenser and evaporator seem like they will fit ok. My question is what year trucks can I find a donor bracket, tensioner, compressor, etc.
