Exclamation A340H OR A340F which one is it?

I have a question which automatic tranny do I have in my 95 4runner. I thought I had the A340H because the drivers side door jamb manufacture sticker reads it's a A340H and the 4runner build date is 10/95.......the pic I have is what is in my 4runner now and was in it when I purchased it.....sooooo is it the A340H?.....OR....the A340F?....It was brought to my attention that I have the A340F.....not the A340H like the manufacturer sticker reads.....soooo what is going on here? any answers?

is it the A340H like the door label reads?...or...

is it the A340F....which is the one I have in my 4runner and the one that is on the tail gate of my 4runner that I purchased used to get parts from to repair my tranny with (by the way the parts I took from the donor tranny and put on the tranny that's in my 4runner now didn't help my problem at all)

Thanks for the input I though it was the A340H that I have....now is the A340F a better tranny?...I know the t-case can be removed from the A340F does that make it a better tranny ?

I think the F has more computer controls since it's usually behind an OBDII 5VZFE, otherwise they are practically identical. Obviously, the tcase is passenger side drop on the H and driver's side on the F.

One of the easier ways to tell the difference is the a340h has side linkage for the shifter, whereas the a340f has top mounted. the a340h is hydraulic and shares the oil with the transmission. As stated, both have the same gearing as do the associated t-cases.
