I have a 99 limited runner, and its got the rear diff lock, but it wont lock in when i push the button, any ideas on what could be wrong?

 

needs to be in 4lo unless you have done the grey wire mod then it will work as long as its in 4 wheel drive

 

I've tried putting it in while in 4Lo, but the light on my dash just blinks, is there a sensor or anything on the axle or any parts that need to be replaced?

 

I've heard that if its been a long time since three locker has been engaged it can stick. Some find the solution is going into 4lo and push the locker button and drive a several feet forward and then several feet backward, do this a bunch if times and this should get it to lock. Good luck!

ok, ill try messing with it tomorrow and i will let you know if it works or not, cause it'd be nice to have my locker for the beach this summer haha

 

i did what you told me to do and my locker actually locked in, and now locks in with no problem, thanks really appreciate it
