i dont no how to post picts on here but what i did is replaced the flex plate on this truck cause it was broken when i put it back together and started it it had a leak from trans so i put a new front seal in and put it back together and it still leaks now on the crank where the flex plate bolts on there is a thing flat on one side and coned on the other if that piece is put in backwards would that cause this new seal to leak that piece fits in to the end of the crank where the cone part of the torque converter goes

Did you seal the flex plate bolts with anything? The bolt holes go through directly to the crank case. You have to seal the treads with lock tight or silicone to keep it from leaking.

Ok. You haven't been clear. Are you sure you got the seal I straight? Did you gouge the surface that the seal rests against? Is there a groove on the torque converter where it rides on the seal?
