92 4runner 3.0 roll over won't run
I rolled my 92 4runner 3.0. The only damage was to the air box. There was no oil inside the VAFM. I have cleaned out all of the oil and such. Plugs were covered in oil and have been replaced. It turns over just fine and the bottom end is turning freely. If i unplug the VAFM it will run for 3-10 seconds(any throttle play and it shuts off) then shut off. With the VAFM plugged in it won't start at all. I realize that the fuel pump initially runs off the ignition and then the VAFM. Does this sound like a bad VAFM or is there something else I should look at?

I had a very similar problem with keeping running last night and not that I rolled mine but the cold air kit mount broke and ended up sitting on the coil wire were it plugs into the coil and cut it just enough to ground it out and it would only run for a couple seconds at a time I ran the coil wire over the top and it works fine now till I replace it tomorrow you might look at that just a thought
