replaced plugs/wires, fuel filter and air filter. After that she would start just fine but when I put it in gear the engine will sputter and die. Checked mass air flow meter and readings are within spec. 5sp m/t. not giving me any codes.... any suggestions?

 

just did the egr valve test, engine stalled when i put the intake manifold line to it.

 

What year is it. I have a 90 with a 22re and there's a butterfly valve at the begining of the intake right above the fliter. If there's anything wrong with that it can idle fine but just stall once you give it any juice. There's also an wire going to and from it and if either has a short anywhere same thing happens.
