86 pickup 22r backfire

Hi. I have an 86 pickup 22r that is backfiring. The valves are adjusted and its a pretty new webber carburetor. Any ideas what it is that's causing it, and how might I fix it? Thanks

I'm not sure on a Weber I have an Asian carb if you look it up type in the search section: I'm sure you can find a form explaining how to do so. on mine I went and bought an air/fuel gauge

Thank ya sir. Its a little confusing. The book says 31/2 turns out, but everything I've read on here suggests a lil over 2, so I'm a lil torn on where to set it. Seems to be fine now at 21/4, so I guess ill sit on that but it still seems like it could be better.
