This is probably been brought up several times before but I am experiencing a hesitation and slight stumble when the throttle is opened from idle. When drving at 20-30 MPH in 3rd gear, level ground, it will start to buck forward and backward like it's starving for gas. It idles ok and seems to run ok when you put your foot into it. The Dealor can't find the problem and a local repair shop couldn't help either. Feels like a bad power valve. It's got me puzzled. This truck has just been stripped to the frame and semi-restored. Most of the parts are new and rebuilt. Anybody have a clue to the cure?

 

my 84 yota 22r idle is real nice, runs good an high rpm, there is a mid range when not under high load where the truck hesitates and bucks back and forth a bit, seems to do this more below a half tank of fuel. had carb gone over by a mechanic, and valves adjusted, about 2000 miles ago.
