Im new to the site and toyotas. I have a 1985 toyota with a 22re and having starter problems. I have replaced the starter twice and still having same problem. I turn on the key,dash lights up everything works except starter. If I bang on the starter it works and truck starts. Any help would be great. Thanks Mike

I still have the old starters so i'll clean the contacts on an old one and reinstall that one. Thanks
