80 Toyota P/U 20R headache
Hello, I'm new to this site as of today but, I hope someone out there has got the answer to my problem I've been dealing with for some time now. Here it is, I have a 80 Toyota p/u with a 20R and it runs well when first started (cold) but when it reaches 160 degrees in temp it stalls and runs rough (wont idle). After it passes 160 it will run good again but, it takes alot to get it past 160.If I shut it off it's hard to start and will start the same thing all over again. I've replaced the carb, checked for vacuum leaks, checked EGR, banged my head and kick the tires. Anybody out there that can help me? I'm about to just keep the radiator cap and shove another truck underneath it.

I did find the problem, it was a loose solder joint on the computer circuit board.
Re-soldered it and it runs fine now, well that part of it does anyway.
