Question 79-83 only what size tires do you run with stock4cyl.?

i have a 1980 toyota longbed it has a 3inch lift and i run 30x12x15 buckshot mudders what size tires are yall running and what mph are you averaging ? my truck is an everyday runner/play so not looking to put it on 40's!

It's all in the gear ratio. Stock you can run 31's and do "fine" on a stock motor. Bigger than that and you want to regear. 33's=4.88's, 35's=5.29's

thanks man ive been asking the question around town i think ill keep my 30s on it it looks good was just wondering what everyone else was runing on their stock rigs!

I run 31x10.5r15. I think I get around 17 mpg, I'm not 100% cause my odometer is off but I'd say it's a safe bet.

I run 31" tires with 4:88 gears and get about 20-21 MPG on the highway running at 2900-3000 RPM. My Air / Fuel ratio is about 13

I like my truck with 30x9.50's, but it's a daily driver. Probably 15mpg in town, 18-20mph highway. And as much power as you can really expect from one of these, stock.

yeah, im currently running 33x12.50x15s M/T k2s and going down to a 31/10.50/15 A/T. too hard to drive,listen to,holy loud!
