4h engine clunk when ignition turned off
Hey folks, today was the first time I had to use my 4wh on my 91 4runner 3.0,auto,in Anchorage because of glare ice. When I turned off the ignition the motor seemed to lurch then there was a clunk. So I strarted it and shut it off again and it was fine. When I got home shut it down and still fine.Wondering if I need to check the 4x4 drive train and if so what should I be looking at?On a side note do I need to shift the 4x4 back to 2w when I park and shut it down? Any and all feed back welcome thanks.

Yep that makes sense there were some dry,and just wet sections on the road.Maybe next time just slow it down a notch and keep it in 2wd.I lived in Colorado a few years we always had a lot of snow by now (Crested Butte) here in Anchorage barren no snow, kinda weird. Thanks
