4 Runner Seats Please Help Me

I bought a pair of 92 4 runner seats for my 94 toy p/u. Had them reupholstered, and now have too much money in them to get out of the installation. My problem is this, they do not extend back as far as my p/u seats did and now my legs are cramped. Is there any way to make the 4 runner seats slide back more? Thanks

Swap sliders.

4Runners did not go back as far since they had passengers in the back seat.

I did it, but probably not the right way. I took the sliders off of the 60/40 bench and removed the sliders off of the 4-Runner seats, which was real fun, sarcastically. I had to grind and drill out the factory rivets and welds on the 4-Runner seats, and then the one track ended up being 1 inch too far to the right on the floor mount of the truck, so it got drilled. I think if you are going to do it, I would recommend utilizing the same type of seat frame. The 4-Runner seats that I used have an external seat frame, and my pickup bench seat frame was simply on the bottom. As I found out the two do not really match. My seat is sitting a little too much to the right, or towards the passenger side now. I think I am going to have to find a different slider or mounting brackets to move the seat to the left, towards the door about a 1/2" to an inch. Just an observation. I am sure somebody has done it with better luck and knew what they were doing. I failed on both accounts. Thankfully the guy who reupholstered the seats helped me out but they are still off a bit. If the seats were not so dang comfortable, I would of just stuck the old seats back in and ate the money I had invested.
