Hey all,

I've noticed a few pictures here and there of black bumpers on the 3rd gen. This one on Burtman's site peaked my interest:

Are these bumpers sold this way or is this just a really nice paint job? If a paint job.. how hard would it be for a guy to re-paint the chrome bumpers a nice shiny black?

 

I have no advice, but I don't mind that you used the pic.

 

I've done some searching and have since found a bunch of instructions about painting chrome.. sounds extremely tedious!

I've also heard a few mention that you can buy the black bumpers on EBay.

Any input would be appreciated.

 

If you can get them on EBay you can search there.

I think that some of the Limiteds came with body color matching bumpers, but I'm not sure on that.

You can always just scuff it up and get them to spray it with black bedliner .
