O damn lol well count tc out lmfao, yeah i have seen blaze land, it looks ok but you cant jump it?? But maybe hehe. What do u think about blaze land, 7mge non turbo, rear posi hehe sounds like a fun truck and twice the powa of a 22re. I like sas too but im thinking this could be fun as hell haulen ars down light trails and the 7mge would rip haha

go on toyotanation and talk to dsmahon on long travel kits. hes a human bible on that stuff. keep in mind you might wanna upgrade to a ford 9 inch or t100 axle out back to make up for width of front. just think if your gonna be 2 grand deep why no save your money and go all out and have what you want? sas you can upgrade later seems like long travel is kinda "not quite what i wanted tear out and spend another 4 grand on what i do want" just my two cents. honestly youd be surprised what your stock ifs will take. with a locked rear and some decent rubber itll surprise you and then some. which if youve had the truck this long im sure you already know

o i know my stock ifs will work great but i want the wider stance and travel so i can haul ass lol and a 7mge or a 3.4 will be a great mix i think. but if i read correctly what u said then u were saying why not just go for sas right? and if thats what u mean then i total get what you are saying but i need like 3500 to sas and im still gonna be slow so idk haha im just trying to figure out what im going to do. i can sas and crawl everything and be slow, i can LT and 3.4 and haul ass but not be too capable in the hard tight stuff, or i can jam 34''s under and lock my ifs and be slow and cheap lol. so guys let me know what you think and give me some ideas so i can finally make up my mind lol

hahaha i meant that a long travel ifs kit is something to do right the first time and spend the extra. sorry i confuse myself when i talk sometimes. I meant that with a sas you can upgrade as you break stuff but a long travel kit is pretty final as in if you dont install a total chaos kit and get a cheaper version it seems like your kinda screwed if you ever want to upgrade more. but idk much about long travel. if i were you id make some 34's fot stock leave the front diff open and lock the rear with an aussie or lock right and wheel til you decide what kind of wheeling you like best. from there you start saving and collecting what you need so when you decide its time whatever option you choose you know exact;y what you want and need and have all the stuff already. that way its not so
when you go to buy it all at the same time. just a thought. im in the same boat as you in a way...my mind constantly changes on the direction i want my rig to go. fast and crazy or slow and well...mannered/crazy haha. or you could take the obviously best route and have two yotas

was it a kit or home built? i have an 85 axle right now but plan to run my ifs til its completely done with. i like the looks of the low sas rigs but it seems like all the kits are 4inch plus. id like around 3 but if i made my own i guess id have to order high steer and make it work.

i could find some 4.56's cuz they grow on trees like 4.10's and i could run some 32"s with the $800 blazeland and a salvaged rear t100 axle? idk so many options im gonna go nuts hahaha

haha ya but are you completely set up for and willing to commit to sas? welders garage etc? plan on a lot more than just the kit for sas as things can and will come up plus rebuilding a front end(from what i have heard and been involved in) gear what you have now and fit your 34's or 33's or 35's or whatever you want and throw in some 4:88's and 5:29's in the rear and spend the money to do the front or pick up a 4 runner front diff from one with 4:88's they are out there and get an axle. buy your sas kit on the side and start rebuilding the front axle. run ifs till it comes apart then bam you have a ready to go front end with kit already prepped and painted ready to go in and then your out what? 300 bucks for front diff gears. i understand 300 is a good chunk of money but think of how much your gonna spend. thats what id do(in the process of now) but hey if ya got the money and set up then by all means sas her up. good luck in your decision either way. just my 2 cents i feel like your gonna want some "just in case" money set aside before you dig into this project. if it can go wrong it will go wrong...

o i can do sas lol i have friends with welders and plasma cutters haha, my metal shop teacher at school can weld amazing too so i would get him to weld the axle truss and hanger. i can do sas if i had the money. i hear what you are saying about just doing ifs and maybe loosing 300 bucks until i sas and that will most likely happen, if i can get some cheap 4.56's of a 4runner and throw in a couple aussies for cheap and get some 34" LTB's to go than im golden. my dad was saying if i can find a job he might help me out a bit too so guess what lol im gonna try and get a job asap haha. you are right about beating the ifs up and then sasing and that would make sense, i have a solid front end now after i got it all fixed so its ready to get beaten up haha. im just waiting on money thats it. oyah and i have brandnew rear leafs for my truck, just waiting to go in so those with a couple AAL's and bj spacers should help fit some swampers too

good plan. only thing is look up the reviews on aussies in the front diff. i think the verdict was if your hubs are locked in plan on like 50 point turns. and imo id say the $300ish dollar loss(less if you buy a used 4runner third, hopefully anyway) is well worth the time and experience youll gain from it. and 34 ltbs are a great tire, if you lived in maine i could have just gotten you some 90% tread 34 ltbs cheap. in fact i really wish i had bought them now...

well yeah turning gets crapy but i can sacrifice turning for traction, like id rather be crawling then rocking back and forth trying to get up stuff because my front diff keep sending power to nowhere lol u know? and i have a a spare cv with a worn shaft that will work great when i snap one. o dude you shoulda bought em haha apperantly LTB's are really hard to get rightnow? i want some bad but if i can find any then i guess im going 33" KM2's or 35"s totaly different tire i know but its what i like lol
#178
my tsls took 2 weeks for them to even make then another week to ship. and ya i realize traction is good but theres a happy medium imo. like if you get into the tight trails you want her to handle right and then when you chuck your front diff a year from now for a sas or long travel your out 600 not 300.

o lol well thats awesome backgate haha
dude worst comes to worst you pull it out of 4wd and turn, auto lockers unlock when the is no pinion power so in 2wd its open. im going to do the twin sticks so i can choose 2wd low if i want. it will work fine. like i said id rather be locked than open
