From your avatar it sort of looks like you have a lift...
I may very well be wrong but I think 31's are the biggest you can fit without a lift. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

what size rim are you on? with my 33x12.50x15's on 15x10 welds there was no way in hell. a cheap 3" body lift will fit those tires no prob. you prob have to remove your factory lower valance and smash back some parts inside the fender well. but they fit great with just the 3" body lift and its cheap! no rubbing even when going up steep inclines or anything.

At least he didnt ask about 35's and no lift
If the rig in question is the one in your avitar it seems like you have a little sag in your rear end. You might as well lift it the right way and replace your leaf springs. If you do a body lift you will still have the sag.

They will fit and long as you don't plan on driving it much. A buddy put those on his '94 and he had bad rubbing up front even pulling into a driveway, to the point steering was limited. We did a 1.5" torsion bar crank, 2" longer rear spring shackles plus an add-a-leaf and a 1" body lift plus some front fender trimming to fit them. They still rub a little off-road, especially if he has brand new tires (full diameter):

I bought my 33-9.50 /15 from a guy with a stock PU because they rubbed. 12.50's will rub for sure.

33X10.5s should fit with no lift and no rubbing. I'm not sure if you'll need to flatten the pinch weld or not though..

On an 86, you will have to do some pinchweld beating
