3 slow probs

Hey guys, I have 1990 4runner with the 3 slow. It only has 63,000 on the clock. This problem just started so hopefully any of you guys can help. Ill start it up and she'll run fine until it warms up. Then it dies unless im giving it gas and when I do give it gas it sounds like its misfiring like crazy. And suggestions on what to check would help! Thanks guys.

Have you done routine maintenance items lately? Plugs, wires, fuel filter?

I'm hesistant to say, but it sounds like the 02 sensor. If i remember correctly, the sensor runs the engine rich until operating temp, then it lets the ECU do its thing based on its readings. Luckily, the ones for our trucks aren't that expensive.

Adam, what he is referring to is the paperclip method of jumping the Te1 and E1 ports in the diagnostic port, then watching the CEL to see how many times it blinks, no need for an expensive plug.
