Hello fellow yotatechies,
Well I've had my 93 4runner for about a year now. I love my yota! I got it stock, bought some black steelies and some 33's ( haha with no lift) but now the rear end sags about 2-3 inches lower than the front. It's driving me crazy, especially when I'm flexin it rubs my tire. What do you guys suggest? I plan on a sas, but unfortunately I don't have 2k just layin around to throw into my rig, so that won't be for at least another year. I've heard rear springs from landcruiser will even them out. Thanks guys, I appreciate any advice or input.

 

I would suggest some spacers in the back between the frame and the coils. They aren't ideal but should help raise the back end up a little big. Another option is to go get new coils for the rear.
Since you plan on doing a SAS later, I wouldn't worry about a lift now. However, I found that my IFS pickup was very capable once I learned how to drive it better. If you wanted just a cheap lift, Toytec makes a 2 inch lift kit that uses ball joint spacers up front and new coils in the rear that is relatively cheap. Of course, you might need new shocks though which add to the price.

Overall, I would just put in some coil spacers in the rear and call it good if you are planning on doing an SAS in the near future.

all you need is a coil spacer. it leveled mine back out even with it loaded down and a rear plated tire carrier bumper.

 

 

The reason I said no lift is because my buddy got a 04 s10 & he put on a 2 or 3 inch body lift and he had to cut his front bumper to fit some 31's lol makes me love my yota even more. So these spacers, can I find them on eBay? Or can you guys please point me in the right direction?

bout 3rd of the way down the page. I bought some for my old '91, worked great, and only took bout 2 hours in stall. I plan on buyin anther set for my current '94.

 

Nice! $179 cor the front & rear. So if I buy the set than will my front end be higher than the rear like it is now? Or will it level out? Right now my rear sags so I would imagine just the rear for leveling purposes. But an inch and a half all the way around for less than $200 bucks sounds great!

 

The rear coil spring spacers will bring you back to level, or give you a slight rake in the back, depending just how much it sags. I can't really comment on the ball joint spacers as I don't run them. I personally kinda like the the rear being a tad bit higher in the back.
