Hello, I am wanting to start my 22r after putting it back on the frame. I just want to run for a couple seconds to verify everything seems fine before I proceed. I was able to crank the starter, now I am ready to hook up the ignition. I want to double check that I hook +12V to this brown wire? Attached image of the wiring diagram I am looking at, current state of the project, and the brown wire I am referencing. Thank you!

I don't know about the 12v directly to the brown wire but would a pic of my wiring around the ignitor/coil help? I can get one posted this evening...

 

Sure it may help. I am not using a wiring harness at the moment but it will hopefully provide some clarity to how to wire.

 

I tested my coil recently and remembered a "brown wire" reference/test. It was the positive terminal on the coil. Though the wire looks more beige than brown. I pulled the bits below from the FSM. Hope this helps.
