20R in a '86 Yota 4X4 Truck?

I have been reading....and more reading. There is a lot of great info. at this site for everything Toy related. It is almost overwhelming to try to find specific info. about what I would like to do, if possible. This is where I'm at and/or my situation:
My first Toy was a '78 Corona. It has 20R and 3spd auto tranny. It has almost 200k miles, and still runs very strong. When I first got the car, I have to say I was very suprised at how much torque the engine has.
It was a good daily driver for about 3 years. I parked it about a year ago, but still crank it up and drive it around the yard from time to time.
Since...I found another 20R engine in a Corona wagon, sitting in my local junkyard. The owner of the yard said it had been driven there some time back.
I traded a couple of other junk cars for it. After I got it home, I put a battery in it, and sure enough it started and ran, but ran rough.
Ok, here are my intentions, or hopes.
The wagon has been sitting in my yard for over a year now.
I was looking in the classifieds, and there is a '86 yota truck, 4X4, etx cab, 5spd tranny, needs 22R carborated engine, for $700.
Seems like a good deal and I'm thinking about going and looking at it.
But, before I do, I need to do some fact finding.
So here goes my Q's:
Will the 20R engine from that wagon bolt up to the manual tranny in the truck?
What about other variables, such as wiring, or hooking up to the computer, if it has one?
My wife can't drive a stick. Will the auto tranny from the wagon work in the truck? Will it bolt up to the transfer case, if the tail end of the tranny is removed? If not, what auto trannies, from other yota vehicles should I look for, to use in that truck?
Would I have more problems trying to do this, than it's worth?
I have a '72 J-4000 4X4 1 ton pickup, so I know a little about 4 wheeling, and the yota's have always proved to be tough little trucks! They can go places my heavy, 5800 lb. truck can't.
I would love to own, modify and do some offroading with a mud floating Yota!
Thanks to all for reading and for any advice!

there is a guy in my town that is selling an '87 with a 20R in it to a friend of mine...it runs fine...and starts fine...drives great..(it has power steering..my '80 doesnt)...and the 4wd works perfectly...so i guess it was a direct bolt to the 5spd thats in it...

Thanks for the info. I was fairly certain that the engine would work, just wasn't sure about bolting up to the 5spd tranny. Anybody else know about this?
Thanks

Thanks for the info. Maybe the '86 will be the same bolt pattern as your '83.
