Hi guys/gals, I have a 91, 22re, 5 speed, 4cy,l 4wd, my question is can I swap the tranny for a 6cyl tranny?

Just wondering what all the process is because i'm sure somebody on this site has done something like this before.

you would need a different bellhousing

 

eternally curious- I have to ask: why would you want to do that?
