I have been lurking around here for a few years now, and with all the valuable assistance I have gotten from you guys, I figured it would be a good idea to go ahead and join up so that maybe one day I can help someone else.
Thanks guys.

When I first started out in the Toyota world, I had a buddy with a similar truck who knew. That was 14 years ago, and since then I have had to do my own work. I really wish the interwebs were as prevalent then as they are now...it would have saved me a whole lot of heartbreak and money.
Just finished a top end and front end rebuild, solved my overheat issues (never even knew about the two stage Toyota stat), and replaced a TPS. Test drive was two hours ago, and we are running like a top.
Who knows, maybe another 250k miles are in the old girl yet....
