using the vacuum so the oil doesnt drain and replacing your drain plug?

 

seeing if the engine runs funny with the oil cap removed and a shop vac hooked up

My drain plug gasket was bad so I use a shop vac to hold the oil in the pan and take out drain plug. You can pretty much take your time if the seal is good on the filler cap. Works great when the oil is brand new and you dont want to waste it.

 

I still say you were making a bong.
