1st gen. 4runner grill removal
well i just picked up my 86' 4runner this past weekend and i want to paint the chrome grill and headlight bezels flat black... anyone have a link for a write up on how to remove it with pics? im sure i could mess with it a bit to figure it out but id figure this would be easier

grill and bezels
headlight grills are just 3 screws, and on the grill, i used a small flathead screwdriver and a flashlight to look into the holes to see the clips. just pry down on one end (gently) while pulling on the grill (also gently) and it will come right off.
