1999 SR5 suspension sag fix for a newbie

Hey Everyone,

I have a 1999 4runner SR5 4wd 6cyl. and at 130,000 miles it has started to sag in the rear. I use this truck as my daily driver and for everything. I occasionally tow snowmobiles, sometimes other random items, and i rarely will go to far offroad. it will go a lot of use going up to vermont in the snow and back roads.i load up the back sometimes with different stuff so weight is moderate. I want to stop this issue without having to change to much. I have read about changing the coils. i want to stay way from the airbag deal, although i am working on a tight budget. A lift would be cool but no more than 3". if you could recommend minor changes with locations of where i can get parts please please please help and let me know.

Thanks!

Hello! I've been looking this up as I have the same problem. Turns out its a very popular one. Changing the coils is the way to go. My best bet was looking at ebay for something that fits. took a while but I came across a pro comp suspension for 180 I believe. There is a forum on here that goes into much more detail but you'll come across some. not a bad idea to get a pair with an inch or two of lift.
Good Luck!

Pro comp

Do you what the suspension was called? Any name would help.
