1997 T100 auto Motor, wanting M/T Ecu

I am wanting to do a 3.4 swap and I have a 1997 T100 motor and the ECU is an auto 4x4 and I am swapping into a 1991 Pickup with a 3.slow M/T. My question is I cannot find the same year ECU in M/T but did find an ECU from a 1996 T100 4x4 M/T (no picture of plug setup). Will this work or are the plugs different. My plugs are 34P, 22P, 16P and 28P. What would be my other options? Will a 1997 2x4 M/T ECU work? I am wanting to do the swap with no too many problems in the future and would like to do it right the first time, so any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Red face

Being you have a T100 Toyota`s version of the New Coke

I doubt your going to find much help.

I think the only way is get copies of both year electrical diagrams and repin the plugs as needed

The plugs may be the same what may be different is how the wires are in the plugs.

I do wish you luck

X2.

Get both EWDs and check pins. It'll be a few days of studying and notes, but it may save you some future headache.
