This rattle noise started the other day, I felt like it was having power loss, then the rattle began — there’s also a knocking noise.



1993 Toyota, 5 speed, 199k.



New plugs, wires, cap, rotor button.



Fuel filter.



Fresh coolant and thermostat.



10w30 GTX and Toyota filter (might change to 10w40 or 20w50)



Oil PSI at cold start is 60 PSI



Oil PSI while warm (idle) 5 PSI



Oil PSI while driving between 2k RPM and 3k RPM is usually between 20 PSI and 30 PSI, never more.



Cold start/idle 1750 RPM to 2000 RPM



Warm idle 750 RPM to 950 RPM



There is usually white guuk on/in oil cap if removed, but oil never looks milky, just dirty after 1,000 miles usually.



Never hot, middle of the temperature gauge.

The engine was still cold during this video.
