I have been without my vehicle for over a month now. I was listening to others about what the problem could be and went and replaced a bunch of stuff. I have replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, pressure regulator, mass air flow sensor, cap/rotor, wires. The water pump and timing belt were done a little more than a year ago. It will start now that I have replaced the mass air flow sensor, but it will not run very long and quits. I push on the gas pedal and it quits. No idea what is wrong with it someone please help me. I have had a couple of mechanics look at it and no one knows what the problem is. I even had a mechanic rewire the fuel pump. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Sorry not sure what else you need to know. It looses fuel. Seems to just kinda run out. You push on the gas pedal and it quits. It takes 15seconds to fill a quart container with fuel. And that is straight from the fuel tank to a container nothing in between the pump and container. Not sure what else to do. The pump is pumping pressure at 90. That is at the tank, which is the right pressure at the tank. Would not enough voltage to the pump cause it to not pump enough fuel per hour? How would I go about rewiring the fuel pump? It seems that whom ever had the 4 Runner before used a fuse in the fuse panel, because the hot wire from the original harness lost power somewhere along the line.

Ok so the thing that caused it to stop running was my just driving down the road and I went over a spend bump really slowly. I guess causing a fuse to pop out of the fuse panel under the dash on the driver side kick panel. This was holding a wire in place that was making the fuel pump work. I had a guy who works on cars, has own shop, and is an electrician fix that problem. But then it would start and every now and then we would have spark. I replaced the mass air flow sensor now have spark all the time and it starts but then turn around and quits like it doesn't have enough fuel to the system. I am purchasing a fuel pump on Saturday that pump more per gallon and returning the other one I just bought under warranty. Other than that I can only think of a vacuum leak somewhere but I cannot find a good diagram anywhere that is detailed enough to show me all of it. Please help. Thanks for your time.
