Hey guys i lost my keys last night. Ya i know stupid me. The thing is i whent to the dealership and got a couple new ones cut matching my vin number. the only thing is they dont work to turn the ignition. they work fine to open the doors and slides in smoothly. but the ignition just wont budge.
its weird because just yeasterday i drove my truck witht re old keys and have never ever had a probleM. helllp. please anyone. this is super frustrating!!!

 

try to wear down the new keys slightly with a wire brush wheel. or some light sand paper. the ignition is worn and the new keys don't match . look for real pointy tips on key and round them down a little. hope this helps.

 

Shoot some graphite lube in there to make sure things are loose in the tumbler.
