ALRIGHT- so i just need some clarification...im sure this has been beaten in to the ground already, i just dont feel like searching hundreds of threads....so....

i have a 1991 4runne with the 3vze. i am the second owner, and the rig has roughly 16x,xxx miles on it. of course, the head blew. i am realizing now they have a recall, on these specific heads due to a manf issue. my question, is it replaced for free? even now that i have went and already done the damage before having it repaired?

and who do i contact? local toyota?

Call your local dealer with the VIN; they can tell you if it was previously done.

 

And I believe the recall ended last year, but check with a dealer anyhow.

 

Some dealers will still honor the recall fyi..
