Hi Everyone,
New here not new to the YOTA. I hope someone can help.
Problem: starts up fine back fires while driving looses power if not idled high.
Things already replaced: Complete tune-up,oil,plugs,dis.cap been done oil filter done, fuel filter done.
Any help plz this is the only car we have and my husband is disabled/bed ridden and I have a special needs child as well. I really can't afford to keep spending money on maybe's if you know what I mean.

I have two of these. My first thought is the distributor. But you have to get a specific brand "rich - porter" and nothing else. You can get them on Amazon if need be.

Now I need specifics. Engine size & model, transmission, mileage. Sounds silly but brand of oil too.

 

yep .. I'm thinkin' distributor as well .
I have this exact issue coming into my shop on Monday
(its a 91 22re 2WD ATM )
