why whats wrong that's causing the problems its been running better but still runs rough when idling and still stalls a few times here and there

 

have u even rebuilt the carb yet, u need to, then check timing after the rebuild, also check vaccum, it sounds like ur accelator pump is bad

 

i have only changed the fuel pump and filter also air filter and changed the oil in it sence i bought it i haven't rebuilt the carb because i have no clue how to and it looks like alot of work just to take it off

 

you still maybe have rust in the fuel tanks, check the fuel filter again.

I had same problem, removed the tanks drained and cleaned out. It had a lot of rust inside and the filter was getting jammed up with rust flakes.

the fuel tank has a drain plug.
