He says that because you need to do a lot of reading about your truck ... most of that reading would answer the questions you post

it will be worth it when your hubs go bad and you have to replace it. Now if you wanna weld it up and later get the spool diff then you have to get a new third member. Honetly dude just do what you want. You seem pretty defensive to the advice from everyone, weld the rear end go break it and then let it sit there cuz you didnt go about things the right way. And trust me going bout the way you seeeem to be going your going to break things and its not going ot be cheap. WHY not spend the time and money ot make it right so in the long run it dont cost you more. sounds like you just wanna play around and altho thats fine and dandy and all but garruntee youll break something then want help on how to fix it and no one will hlep you cuz you wont take our advice ( JUST MY OPINON )

I think he meant to say the front was not a SA, the rear was. I know thats odd to hear because the rear has always been solid. so no need to mention it. Ach Du Lieber.

Here's the best advice I can give you: Learn what terms like "SAS", "differential", "locker", "hubs", etc... mean before you ask questions using those words. Get a dictionary and read the FAQs.

He asked to see a pic of it installed, not necessarily working/locking. Yes, he needs to do some reading, but you might too (his post)
