1980 Toyota ignition module

Ok, so im pretty sure my ignition module fried on my 80 toyota, i was wondering if there is any way to rig up a aftermarket one. I went to oreillys and they want $240 dollars for one ha ha. Any help is appreciated

Some have made a chevy ignition module work in place of the toyota ignitor. Do a search here or on the pirate forums, you should be able to find the info you need.

I have no idea, but the distributor and ignition module are two different things.
