I have 15x10 right now. If I had the option to do it over. I think I would go with 15x8. brings the side wall in flatter, in hopes not to cut the side wall as I have done twice now.

35's sound awfully too small for 8" total lift. Who makes a 5" lift for these trucks?

To stay on topic like said above if this is a street queen, go with the 10's. If your gonna be wheeling it and airing down the tires go with the 8's.

I have had several toyotas with 15x10's and 15x8's and it seemed a better ride and control with the 15x8's on.

with a COG as high as your truck is I would go with 15x10's...adds some stability...

12.5" wide tires typically go on a 10" wide rim. putting them on an 8" wide rim will simply squeeze the sidewalls in more and make your contact patch a little more convex.

the BFG site itself specifies the rim width range for this tire in 12.5" wide is 8.5 - 11":
http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire-...2/tire-details

if you ever need to warranty claim a tire, they may deny you for using a rim narrower than their specified minimum.

then, what backspacing you choose for your rim is what will determine where it places the tire within the wheel well.

i run a 33x12.5 on a 10" rim and i like everything about them well maybe not all the cutting i had to do but the ride is great and off road I float over everything.

Kinda shows you how the 12.5's bulge everyone thinks i'm running 35's

well i have a rough county 4-5in lift...i can play with the torsion bar to get it the lift where i need it. but the 3in body lift helps. i plan on using the truck on trails, in mud, snow, whatever i may into.. or over ha ha. with the 15x8 do the tires. wear quicker then 15x10.

Really the only thing that I have found that sucks running 10" wide rims off road is you get way more rock rash. But who really cares I if I did my truck would stay on the road.

anyone that uses 15x8 rims with 35in tires on their truck, do you get excessive wear or crowning on your tires?. i spoke with a guy that had them on his jeep and he had crowning. and he tried all kinds of pressures it still happened. i just was not sure if it was his truck. or the extra tire doing that..

I run 33x12.5 km2s on 15x8 wheels with no problem. No noticeable crowning or uneven wear that i can see. Our trucks are lightweight so not much wear happens. Honestly, i think 15x8 work alot better & look better. The 15x10 kinda gives the tire a balloon look. Theres a guy here that runs those same tires (35x12.5) on 15x8 steelies and it looks great.
