Hi new to forum I got a 92 toyota 4 runner auto 4wd. And i recently swapped the transmission and it seems like the #1 solenoid in the trans isnt working. When i try to take off its like its in 3rd gear. But when i put it in low it works fine. From what ive searched on here its the #1 solenoid. So my question is how do i find the #1 solenoid i believe there is 3 solenoids all together, anyone have a picture showing which is which? Thanks alot

 

im also curious. ive got a 93 doin the same thing and i wanna know if all the solenoids are universal or different or if theres a part number i can get so i can have the part before i tear it apart. i went to napa and explained it and they showed just one but that doesnt sound right

 

I just did this there are 2 shift solenoids and a lock up solenoid when you drop the pan. I had to do both so I did the lock up at the same time they were like 180 for the 3. Did you check the diagnostics?
