WTB, top dollar paid: Need small piece of OEM seat upholstery from 1989-1994 Pickup
Hi all,
I'm looking to fix a small tear in my OEM bench seat (see photo of my seat) by locating a piece of matching OEM fabric to patch it with. Any of you have any old OEM fabric lying around, or an old seat you'd be willing to pull some fabric off of to make some $$?
I need a piece about 25 inches by 8 inches or so, though bigger pieces would be even better.
OEM seat fabric isn't available anywhere I can find, so my next best idea is to ask folks if they'd be willing to part with some used fabric. If I can't find any that way, I'll probably reupholster the whole seat in a non-OEM but similar looking fabric.
Thanks for any and all help!

Sounds like the rear seats from a bench seat would be perfect for what you need. Generally they have the least wear and are large sections of untouched fabric (flat, no sewing lines etc). I think my 91 2wd pickup has the same fabric design or something really similar. I don't think I have any pics of it sadly and it's at my dad's house atm.
Here's a pic I found online of the seats I'm talking about.

@atcfixer - I think you're exactly right, the fabric from a rear seat could be perfect!
If anyone has a rear seat or two they'd be willing to pull the fabric off to sell, please let me know.
Thanks

I forgot to check the truck at my dad's today, kind of got floored when I got a buyer of 5 axles, 3 engines and 2 4x4 transmissions lol.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's the same pattern, or very close. Could pull the fabric off the rear back (largest section) for ya. Not sure what kind of price to ask for though. From memory, all the fabric in the truck was nice, and it was an odd truck, TRD 2wd and the 512k miles lol.

atcfixer - thanks! I just PM'd you. Let me know if you don't get it (was my first time sending a message on this site).
MrShocker - I have a seat cover but I'm trying to slowly restore everything on this truck. Thanks for the idea though.

Maybe not helpful but if you can get your hands on a passenger side bottom cushion the whole thing can be switched to the driver's side, Usually passenger seats are in much better shape than driver's.
They pop up on eBay once in a while. This one is a 89-94 pickup but it's not the same fabric. Someone here can probably find you one and by swapping the cushion you would not have to sew.

Well I found out where I saw the fabric... my dad's 1995 T100 has that pattern, but it's his daily driver.
That reminded me of the 95 2wd pickup I have in my yard for parts, checked the fabric and it looks like a match. It's loaded up with boxes and junk so I'll have to clean it out for photos. Looks like a bench seat, back section looked fairly clean, bottom is greasy, and driver's area I'm sure is ripped up.

Yea, I need a garage to store all of these parts lol. I like to strip them down to the bare cab and either sell the parts off the cab (rockers, rear window metal, etc) or if it's rusted out, scarp the left overs. I'm limited to 5 per year, so I have a fair bit built up in the few years I've been collecting.
Anyway photos, not the cleanest, but no rips atleast. Should be a lot of area to use. Too bad it wasn't extended cab though for the bare fabric, of course these bench seats have a bit of stitching in them. The bottom has a lot more grease, and the driver's side isn't ripped on top, but under the transition it's coming apart. Anyway, figured best photos would be with it removed, not too bad to pull off the seat frame. I pulled all the metal bars and such out so it can be rolled up and be shipped maybe in a mailing tube/triangle.
Let me know if you can work with what I have or if you need close up photos etc.
