Want cheap A340H

I picked up a '95 4-runner that needs a transmission. Since my DD is a 3rd gen I'm not looking for anything special. Just need the transmission to shift right and not have a loud ticking sound like the current one.

PM me if you are on east coast (North Carolina) or can ship to 28562.

When I look at the flexplate with a flashlight it looks fine. I guess I should zip it off and look at it closely before going further.

you need to run your fingers on it to feel the crack or break. Sometimes it hard to see.

I removed the flexplate and looked it over real well. I can't find any cracks or signs of weakness / movement. I'm guessing I need to replace like one bearing in the tranny but if I tear into it I might as well rebuild it.... and I've never rebuilt one.

Rebuilding an auto

My buddy has one he would sell you. He would want you to pay out the ass for shipping though.

I have one with 158k that's in my 95 4Runner that I am parting out. I would have to think that shipping would be CRAZY though! If you want to make a road trip to PA, you are more than welcome to. $100 takes it.

P.S. It's still in the vehicle. Didn't get around to pulling it yet.

Don't need 1 any more.. thanks though.

I stole the 3.0 for something else so now i have a solid 4x4 body with no engine and no transmission.... likely going to part it out but have someone interested in taking it whole.

$100 sounds like a good price. I'm sure someone around there would snatch it up if you put it on Craigslist.
