Pickup wanted

My old car us on its way out and I want another yota truck. I am looking for a 84-95 pickup with 22re, 4x4, 5 speed, extended cab, mostly stock. I don't mind a blown engine or tranny. I would rather pay less and do the rebuild, however, I am no good at body work, so I want a good frame and body with no rust...

I am just beginning my search, as my car is neither dead nor sold yet. What does any one think this "dream truck" described above will set me back?

Depends on where you live, mostly. For me in the south east, $3000-5000 should be PLENTY for a decent truck. Anything over is just mint. Anything under will need some work or is just a heck of a deal!

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I've got to have the pickup. Good luck selling it. Sounds like a nice runner.
