94 4runner rear spring perch/shock mount

Hello,

Today as i was driving home i noticed a clunking noise in the back of my runner.
Turns out the the Right Rear shock mount rusted out and is no longer attached at the top. So now i need a shock mount/spring perch. I did come across a thread that lead me to this page:

http://www.toyotapartszone.com/1994/...ner-frame.html

I'm wondering if there are any after market places that offer the same thing or something like it.

thanks to any that reply

none of those parts on that site that i saw are what your looking for. get one of these it makes mounting shocks easier. http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index...ock-mount.html

51301-35020 was the part im looking for on the link i had. i think. i wish they had pictures so i could tell.

that bar looks like a good idea but would it work with the stock coil springs at stock ride height? i see they are only using leaf springs in the pictures.

thanks for the reply

Why don`t you just buy the new part and put it on.

or is something like that beyond your level of repairs at this time.

I looked under a 2nd gen 4runner today and if I am understanding you correctly the part you want is welded on the frame.

The same thing happened in a 2nd gen 4runner my family use to own. There's really nothing you can do except buy custom shock mount tabs and make your own.
