What tires for 04 4runner w/ 3" Revtek Lift?
#1
Hello,
I have a 04 SR5 4runner V6 (2WD) with a 3" Revtek suspension lift installed. My stock tires are 265/65/R17.
It's time for new tires. I would like to get a tire that can fit on my stock rims for now. I don't want to go bigger than a 275/75.
So I have a few questions and would appreciate any help:
1 - How much is gas mileage affected w/ bigger tires like 275/70?
2 - The speedometer will need to be calibrated, correct?
3 - I am thinking of going with a 275/70 which is 1.59 inches taller than my stock tires. I first thought about 265/75 and 275/75 but both of those don't come for 17" rims, correct?
4 - Will the 275/70 fit in the spare location?
5 - Is the next tallest tire up from 275/70 for a 17" rim a 285?
Thank you for the help and Happy Holidays!
