Hello! I am a new member here, and i have a question. the third or "high mounted brake light" as the owners manual calls it burnt out. I removed the old bulb no problem got out the new one part#921c same exact bulb as the old one, and i cannot get this bulb in the socket for anything! It is the exact same size as the one i took out, is there some kind of trick to this? truck is a 2004 sr5. Thanks guys!

 

not sure, they have been easy to replace on my '05, but you might want to try the correct folder: 95.5-2004 Tacomas or the General Electrical and Lighting Folder
