Rancho Quick Lift?

Went down to my local 4x4 shop today to see what could be done about doing a 3" lift on my 2005 Tacoma TRD. I was really thinking about doing Camburg, they seem to be the real deal.

The owner of the shop got really into trying to push the new Rancho Quick Lift.

He swears up and down on them, thinking they're the next best thing to sliced bread with an image of the virgin mary on them.

I've looked around, have not heard good things about Rancho. For the extra $200 should I just suck it up and go with the Camburg?

Not knowing the price of the Rancho quick lift, I would say that if it's that close in price to Camburgs or Donahoes, I'd go with something like that.

I've also read some reviews in which the testers thought that the Rancho Quiklift system caused the front end to be a bit bouncy, like what a spacer lift would do. And essentially it's for the same reason, your coils are more compressed. They've simply moved the coil mounting pad up x number of inches.

Have you considered Skyjacker?

I just installed a Skyjacker 3" lift. It consisted of new Platinum front struts, new rear springs, and rear Nitro 8000 shocks for $717.71.
