Does anyone know if the bolt down bed liners that come on the newer tacomas tend to cause rust to the bed like the old cheap ones that just sit there and flat.The bolt down one doesnt flap but it is bound to vibrate and may hold mositure.I hope to get some info on this so i know if i need to rhino line the bed

 

As far as I know its the same perma guard bed liner the pickup had

 

I believe the newer tacomas have metal outsides and a hard plastic inner on the beds. So you shouldn't have a rust issue.

 

the bed is a composite plastic, it's not going to rust. only metal in the rear is the frame rails underneath and the outer body skins
