Hey John!
You are going to love the new ride! I love mine. Out of curiosity why are you going with the two spacer setup as opposed to new coils and struts that would provide the same lift? Is your goal just to level it?

The OME coils generally run tall, and I dont want to have to do anything to the rear if I can help it. Besides I like the factory ride. And since you dont get any more room for tires I dont see the point..

nice
i have had mine with same options but in Radiant Red.
I have 359 miles on mine and don't plan any modes except a camper shell in the next few months.
if I could ever learn to load photos on this site I would load pics of my new truck

Good looking truck... The tool box is a good idea, but make sure you mount it to the track system on the side of the bed.
Things I would recommend as being a previous owner:
1. Get rid of the stock rear springs and get Deavers ASAP as my stock springs squeeeeeeeeked like crazy!
2. Order up some Weathertech Floor Liners for the Front and Back as they are the best and will SAVE your interior.
3. Get a 3M film front end protector, the clear film that attaches to the paint. The paint on these Tacoma's are very soft and will chip VERY easily. Have this done before delivery.
4. Get rid of those tires ASAP. They are terrible.. Get some REVO's before you take delivery unless you are going to change to bigger tires and rims.
5. The SMC Bed's crack and chop VERY easy... I would take the truck to a Line-X dealer, have them scuff/prime the bed and get it Line-Xed as it will be a lot stronger then.
Take all these recommendations as a lesson learned... I went through all these situations with my truck.... if you ever have to get the windshield replaced, go with PPG and not Toyota glass as it scratches and chips WAY to easy.

The paint chipping issue has been taken care of by toyota, at least from what I have read its mainly a 2005 issue. And I do have a hood protector on the front, bug sheild, that covers the same as the 3M ones do.
As far as tires I will have new ones by hunting season, but will stick with BFG's, much prefered by me to the Revo's.I need load range C or better and two spares for where I hunt.
Suprised you think that about the glass, all of the toyotas I have owned have had good glass OEM? Thou I go thru any windsheild pretty quick, winters in the NW produce lots of chips.

use photobucket.com
I wont be getting any aftermarket springs anytime soon. Deavers are too soft for towing unless you get the larger pack ones, then too stiff on the street. I will probally add a Alcan AAL or airbags, thou not sure until I get the front lift on and see what I need for the rear. And the Alcans I had on my 92 squeaked too, generally a leaf spring thing

I live in Michigan and went through 4 windshields in the 13 months of owning my truck (before trading in)...
Good luck.

Hood Protector will not work, as I had one and still had problems with my bumper, fenders, and hood... There is a 3M applicate that goes onto the bumper, fenders, hood, and a few other places... I still highly recommend it.

From: Los Osos, CA (we can't agree on crap!)
I love ours, or should I say, my wife loves it. It has been a much better family vehicle than my '93 4runner. Our only regret was buying the shell through the dealer (long story, but TOYOTA OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA should be blacklisted!) The whole place is full of liars, the only section that I haven't had problems with is the parts dept. Once I get my free oil changes, neither of my vehicles will go there. I will drive the extra 40 min. to Santa Maria.

congrats on the new ride John.
You should take your child seat[s] to a upholstery shop and get them recovered to match your new truck
Chrome diamond plate tool box would probably look the best and you might want to get a toneau cover too to improve the mpg and give you some more covered storage [to haul all the extra stuff the kid will need like stroller[s], play pen, etc.] the amount of junk my friends drag around when they go out with their kid[s] they almost need to drag a uhaul behind them...
Oh yeah! Make sure to get the interior scotch guarded... TRUST ME.
