My dads mishap...

Heres my dads 2004 4runnner sport v-6 4wd.
It didnt do to well hitting construction barrels at 65 or so mph. The damn thing only had around 40,000 miles on it too. He said it ripped the A arms up on the suspension and the airbags went off. Im thinkin its totalled for sure. What do yall think?

heres the link...my damn photobucket is cancelled

That sucks man. That's probably borderline totaled from what you described. You never know, some insurance companies will deem stuff like that fixable, some won't. It really depend on if it has extensive frame damage and such.

If they total it you should talk your dad into buying it back and SAS'ing it

Hopefully it IS totalled.
You don't want a jacked up daily driver... hopefully they give him enough on buy-back that he can be okay.

Is he okay?

That's pretty mangled! Because it is so new it may not be a write off, but that is a lot of parts need replaced

Ya hes is alright. I hope its totalled too. It could have messed up wiring, suspension and braking sytems as well as the damage in plain view. I wasnt with him, he said he just looked down for one second and the next thing he knew was he was into a barrel full of sand.
