Mag lite mounts can be had at any place that sells mag lites...Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. ad nauseum...I got mine at HD IIRC.

i have many mag lights but none comepare to my sure fire lights, they are simply great, small and way brighter than my maglight.

I just picked up a 4D at Wally world for $16. I have it on the right side of the drivers seat in between it and the center console. I know a Surefire is probably brighter but a 1.5ft chrome maglite has a little more negotiation power

lowes was selling them at that price after katrina. i dont know if they still are or not.

I am given any size maglite as part of my "uniform". I have about 6-1.5' maglites laying around the house. The only reason I use them is that they are free.

I mounted mine in front of the drivers seat on the floor on the little lip in the floor that the seat bolts to...

I got my mount brackets from Bass pro shop.
