Mag Light mount on an 03.
#27
I've got a 4D cell Mag that I'm gettin ready to mount on my Husky liners if I get them for X-Mas as I have planned
Awesome job in the glovebox, I'm afraid my 4D won't fit in there...I may go ahead and mount my 6D but that may get in the way of my feet. It sucks being a big guy, when you wear a size 15 or 16 you gotta be careful what you put on the ground...especially a 2 foot long Maglite that weighs about 20 pounds!
Later fellas,
Fink

I just mounted my 4D cell MagLite on my HuskyLiner, now I don't know where to put my 2D Mag. Maybe in the glove box or the wife's car; never know when you might need a light or a "be-good" stick!
BTW, Wal-Mart has the 2D size on sale for $14.97 and the 4D for $19.37, both with a total of three spare bulbs, which sold me on my purchase list night. Get 'em while you can!

On the Husky
I've had the 4D maglite mounted several places in the 4Runner and I like on the Husky right below your feet the best. The black mag blends right in with the black mats. I got too much other crap to put in the glove box!
I've had several guys at work ride in my rig lately ask me about what I did to get the mag to mount there. It's freakin contagious!

And, I just bought a Surefire A2 with white LEDs that will fit almost anywhere! Amazing light from a tiny package.

I do not have a picture, but my mag lite is on the center console. I used the Cable Wraps that are found at home depo or lows that have a ratcheting action and release. IT will not come out unless you want it too very safe for offroading.
But i like it in the glove box, nice and clean.

You may have the same problem. It took patience and effort to bang the base of the Mag-Lites on a flat surface to dislodge the batteries.
