Looking to buy a GX470

I am looking at buying a gx470. Any info about finding a good one? When does the timing belt need to be changed on one. I have been looking at some with any where from 30k to 85k miles on them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I remember hearing that the first year models had alot of problems. Cannot remember what the problems were though. Try a google search.

The timing belt is supposed to be changed at 90k. They are really a nice SUV, one of the only Lexus models I like (and I see them all day long!). I do see some rear height control sensor problems and there is a huge TSB out for the rear drive shaft and control arms. Don't let that scare you though, once the new parts are fitted, they drive/ride nicely!

They're just a more expensive 4th Gen 4Runner so you can't go wrong with them :-)
